4 weeks…and counting!
Why hello,
Sorry to have neglected you for so long. I’ve been a bit busy with work travel, weddings, wrapping up summer, and jumping right into fall! All the while training hard for my biggest race yet…the NYC marathon. Woot Woot! Gotta love this beautiful, crisp fall weather to train in. With only 4 short weeks away a girl has a lot on her mind. From training, getting workouts in, what to pack, what will the course be like, how many pairs of shoes is acceptable to bring for only 5 days…you know, the usual. I’m not only excited to race alongside my good friend Kate Price but also spend some quality time in such a breathtaking city with my family and Joel’s Dad & step mom. It will be quite the trip! Did I mention we are within blocks of the M&M store…might be packing more back than I thought:)
I ran 19 miles yesterday, it was hard but we did manage to take a few breaks to stretch and re-fuel. I’ve been trying to stay on schedule as much as possible thanks to my coaches at TNmultisport ! Looking forward to posting my training, nutrition, and what’s new in the next 4 weeks! Stay tuned…NYC or bust!!!
